Your Role

The Beauty Room team helps guests feel confident and beautiful. You’ll provide makeup touchups, nail painting, and hair styling in an encouraging atmosphere where every guest feels valued.

• Paint fingernails and offer nail art for interested guests
• Curl, straighten, or style hair as requested
• Apply makeup for interested guests
• Create an encouraging atmosphere where attendees feel valued and beautiful
• Clean up during and after the event

Pre-Event Instructions

Meet at the Beauty Room (Court 2, Upper Section) at 5:30 PM. Virtual training available in advance, with additional on-site instruction.

Working with Guests

• Use People First Language — say “person with a disability” rather than “disabled person”
• Ask permission before offering assistance; address the individual directly
• Maintain normal conversation tone and volume
• Watch for signs of overstimulation: yelling, crying, fidgeting, or fearful expressions
• If a guest is overwhelmed, gently redirect them to the calming room or find their buddy
• Never be alone with an individual guest

Dinner: Chick-fil-A is providing meals for all attendees. Limited allergy-friendly options available.

Karaoke: Opens after the Tim Tebow video. If rooms are crowded, guests can sign up for a turn.

• The calming room is available for any guest who feels overwhelmed
