The light that shines the farthest, shines the brightest at home. The Assembly has been and continues to be an active part of the Broken Arrow/Tulsa Community. We want to be a generous church – both time and money – toward those in our community.
Below are a number of opportunities for you to serve our community.
Prison ministry at Dick Conner Correctional Facility.
Open two days a week, The Assembly’s Food Pantry offers groceries, prayer, and encouragement for families in need. There are numerous ways you can serve in this ministry.
Annual Community Events
BACK TO SCHOOL OUTREACH
Providing free school supplies, haircuts, immunizations, and meals to families in need.
Providing brand new bike to boys and girls in foster care and adopted children. In December 2018, we provided over 600 bikes to children. Our goal is to go even bigger in December 2019!
NIGHT TO SHINE (SPONSORED BY THE TIM TEBOW FOUNDATION)
Providing a celebratory, prom-like atmosphere for those with special needs. We create an environment to crown these men and women with special needs Kings and Queens for a night. Food, dance, red carpet, limos, giveaways, pampering and so much more happen throughout the night. In February of 2019, we provided almost 760 persons with special needs an amazing night, our largest group yet!
